The ECE Trainee Bursary is designed to support early childhood educators who are working in a licensed child care centre or regulated family child care and are taking Early Childhood Education courses online from a provincially recognized college/university to upgrade their valid Trainee Level Certification to Level One Certification.
The Department of Education has partnered with AECENL to provide ECE Trainee Bursary Program where AECENL process the applications and recommends the successful applicants for the payment to the Department of Education.

· Only eligible PDF scanned application will be accepted. Photos (e.g., .jpg) are not acceptable as they are unable to produce legible copies.
· Put your name (first and last) and ECE Trainee Bursary Application in the subject line of the e-email before sending.
· Retain a copy of the original e-mail for your record, in the event it is requested to be resubmitted again.
· Remember: If you are emailing your application, original transcripts must be submitted directly from the college or university either by mail or emailed to: ecetraineebursary@aecenl.ca
