Photography
AECENL would love to document and share this in-person event and highlight the ECEs working across our province. If you would prefer not to be in any photos shared on our social media platforms or in our newsletter, please let us know in advance.
Nutrition Breaks
We ask that participants bring their own food and drinks to this event. Participants will have a 15-minute break in the morning and an hour-long break for lunch.
Event Schedule
Regional Travel schedule will be announced Winter 2025.
Q&A
Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about certification, bursaries, grants, membership and more during our live Q&A session with AECENL staff. If you want to submit a question before the event, please email plcoordinator@aecenl.ca with the subject “Regional Travel Questions” and we’ll make sure to include them!
Cancellation Guidelines for In-person Events
Have you registered for Regional Travel and are now unable to attend? Early Childhood Educators are hardworking, busy professionals with personal lives to balance in addition to professional learning goals. Sometimes we can’t do it all!
If you registered and cannot attend, please let AECENL know at least 48 hours in advance so we can offer your space to someone on our waitlist. The more notice, the better! If you have to cancel within 48 hours of the event, we would still appreciate the notice so we can make the necessary adjustments on our end.
No-Shows
To plan a successful day, it’s important to know who’s coming. If you are unable to attend the event at the last minute, please write plcoordinator@aecenl.ca. Registering without attending and providing notice via email to admin@aecenl.ca or plcoordinator@aecenl.ca may mean that the participant cannot hold a seat at the next scheduled in-person event.
Bringing Children to Regional Travel
It is essential for ECEs to have a safe space to talk about the work they do with children, and sometimes that means children should not be present. Children under the age of nine months who are not yet walking are welcome to join their caregiver.
Feedback
Your feedback is important! Each participant will have an opportunity to fill out an exit survey at the end of the day.
How to Register
Registration information will be announced Winter 2025. AECENL Members will receive information prior to it being announced publicly.
Spaces are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
